Summary/Abstract: The literary study is focused on the formation of the genre story for girls in Czech literature of the second half of the 19th century. Sofie Podlipska in this genre became famous. The topic of the study is an attempt to find the roots of the genre in a story Nedostiitelná, which was the first prose text of Sofie Podlipska. The story was published in Lumir 1859. The literary study deals with theoretical works by Umberto Eco, especially working with the term model reader.
