Summary/Abstract: Developing a course online for the military could be even more difficult than doing the same job for the civilian students because of the difficulties encountered by the author when trying to find material on different sites. It is a lengthy process because not everybody can have access to all military sites and sometimes it happens to find sites that seem to be with potential but you are not allowed to see or use them. One of the shortcomings is the dynamic of the internet where the sites appear and disappear and the links used for exercises may become useless, compromising an important part of the course and making long hours of work useless. In our opinion the teacher should make a compromise between computer-based exercises and links for internet-based exercises, in order to accomplish the goals of the course and the objectives for each part of teaching-learning session. The attempt of developing a military course is exemplified in this paper that is based on a project designed under supervision of two American teachers who guided us into discovering eLearning. Some samples of exercises of mixed skills will be shown, intended for intermediate level students but that can be also used for lower-intermediate and upper-intermediate students. Many other types of exercises can be developed if the teacher is able to find the reliable site containing the right information to be used in a one hundred minute course intended for military students. Sometimes part of the course may be used with other students, too.
