Summary/Abstract: The article presents the procedure of supporting order-picking of products in a warehouse. It consists of several steps. The first step presents locations of ordered goods. Next (for selected locations) the values of taxonomic measure of location’s attractiveness are calculated. It is a taxonomic measure of distance from reference object with the follow-ing diagnostic variables: localisations’ distances, degree of demand satisfaction, storage time, etc. After the selection of visited localisations, order-picking process starts. Empirical example presents the application of described procedure in the existing warehouse.
