Summary/Abstract: The main goal of the study was to order districts (LAU1) of Podkarpackie Voivodeship taking into account their labour market situation in 2011 and determine how the presence of designated areas constituting the oldest special economic zone Euro-Park Mielec affects the ranking of those districts where the zone is located. The ordering was conducted using a method proposed by M. Walesiak based on the generalized distance measure (GDM).
