New legal regulations in the protection of the quality of air – the monitoring and restoring the required state of the quality of air

Summary/Abstract: The article is analysing implementing in Polish internal law duties resulting from the EU law, of examining observing legal requirements of the quality of air and taking action being aimed at restoring of violated requirements. The duties concerning the monitoring in Poland are burdening a review body, i.e. the inspection of the environmental protection, however restoring duties concerning taking action required quality of air self-government bodies of the province. A lot of mistakes of new provisions were indicated in the article, of which can be an effect a non-performance through Poland of duties defined in the EU law, concerning providing for the appropriate quality air.
