Process of creating economic change management strategy in the region - a case study

Summary/Abstract: In the paper the issues in the fi eld of economic change management at the regional level were taken up, which are relatively new, while quite commonly and often undertaken in recent years. More and more regions or other territorial entities apply a strategic approach to the economic change management by creating their strategies. Strategy is usually regarded as a tool that helps improving decision making processes in response to the change and consequently, helps in faster adaptation to changing environmental conditions
