Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to determine the stages of psychosocial maturity in adolescents from orphanages, segregated Roma schools, mixed schools and Bulgarian school. 309 respondents in adolescence are studied. The Erikson Psychosocial Stage Inventory was applied (Erikson Psychosocial Stage Inventory, Rosenthal et al., 1981). The results show that the adolescents from the Bulgarian school are characterized by the highest values of autonomy and intimacy. The adolescents from the segregated Roma schools are as a whole most immature and characterized by the lowest values of autonomy and industry. The adolescents from orphanages are characterized by highest values of industry and the lowest levels of intimacy.
