The aim of this paper is to show how the use of digital museum documentation in the process of educating museum visitors, as well as its use in the framework of the educational process, can have a significant role in museum visitors' education. The research was done by browsing the web presentation of local museums and galleries, and the data analysis of the visual representation of digital documents (which include photos of museum objects or otherwise visually represented objects) shows how the museum visual documentation in digital form is not used for the purpose of educating the future visitors. Guided by assertion that the museum experience and the need for visiting the museum, is product of social class and education level of the individual, and that museums depends on its audience, as the solution is proposed to include visual museum documentation in the educational process through building digital learning (museum) objects.
