Environmental indicators of external environmental reporting

Summary/Abstract: The article presents a reflection on the disclosure of environmental indicators in the external environmental reporting. It presents the essence of environmental reporting and the definitions of environmental indicators and their types. Environmental indicators included in the optional external environmental reporting of three operators from the automotive industry were analysed. The purpose of this article is to show the types of environmental indicators which are presented by the companies disclosing environmental indicators published optionally in external environmental reports. When writing the article, the following research methods were used: literature studies, analysis, induction and inference. Reports published on the official website were also necessary.
