Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the features of the housing estate in context of sustainable development. The main aim is to identify realization of sustainable development rules in particular new and old housing space. Author of articles try to assess Opole housing space in case of sustainable housing estate. New and old buildings were compared and identifying on the background of sustainable space which is walking distance.
