Regional indices of economic integration with the European countries, CIS, Asia and Africa were estimated. On the basis of panel data for 2004–2013 years, there was conducted an estimation of econometric models that determine the degree of employed population influence in the region in various economic sectors on changes in regional employment in general and on agriculture and industry sectors in particular. For this purpose, indices of regional economic integration, index of regional employment diversification and index of region’s geographical attractiveness were evaluated and applied in aforementioned econometric models. The importance of regional specialization’s influence on employment growth in the region was detected and it was established that the higher index of regional industrial integration with the European countries promotes increase of employment in the region.
