Summary/Abstract: Szymon Kaczmarek has directed a performance based on Zofia Nałkowska's novel The Frontier at the Polish Theatre in Poznań (prem. 14 Dec 2014). Piotr Dobrowolski focuses mostly on the very good acting, which, despite excessive psychological realism, suitably represents the subject matter of the work. Although Dobrowolski points out the proliferation of themes and insufficient modification of the dialogues and monologues of the characters, he has a positive opinion of the performance.
