Summary/Abstract: The article discusses issues of organization and financing care for elderly in Poland. The main objective is to classify the entities responsible for providing care among the various social security system and present the current long-term care financing solutions with their effectiveness. Evaluation of the costs of providing long-term care and compared to other countries is a key result.
