NORMS AND VALUES OF PUNK SUBCULTURE IN POLAND

Summary/Abstract: In this article I am considering the problem of norms and values, which are being followed by the representatives of the punk subculture in the todays world. To capture the changes that to the subculture have been done I started from the Bauman concept of postmodernity. I present today’s image of punks from the point view presented by David Muggleton – creator of the concept „post-subculture” and I try to prove that this concept is to critic and unilaterally sees the problem of the todays sub-cultures groups. I suggest that analysis of the punk subculture phenomena should take account of the „ex-corporation” concept by John Fiske also „tactics” and „strategy” actions described by Michal de Certeau.
