Summary/Abstract: Polish influence upon the North-West Belarusian dialects phonetic and grammar is very superficial. It must be qualified as the result of areal (adstratum) interaction between the neighbouring languages. However this factor is important for supporting some primordial lingual phenomena and for their strengthening as the regional features of the Belarusian dialect language.
