Summary/Abstract: Various semantic properties are presented in dialectical names of plants (usually when the names are functioning on a small area). Usually they are a reflection of a naive interpretation of world and they are closely connected with cultural conditioning of a community (especially with faith and magic). The report shows the connections between names of plants and their characteristic features fixed in the consciousness of people living in the countryside, typical to a species and recognised in connection to its various uses.
