Summary/Abstract: This paper addresses the problem of the key factors of competitive position of enterprises that belong to health tourism sector. The reference point was a synthesis of research on competitiveness at the micro level of resources available in literature. On this basis, it has been indicated that in Poland there is a proven model for industrial enterprises and research problem comes down to the question to what extent it can be utilized in order to determine the competitive position of key factors in other sectors. Case study, based on own research, confirms mobility model of M.J. Stankiewicz and indicates what factors can be considered crucial to the competitive position of resorts and points out that the far-reaching effects of changes in the competitive position should be seen in the tendency of impact factors to move towards intangible resources.
