ABOUT POETICAL-MUSICAL COMPOSITION OF LYRICAL SONGS OF LOVE

Summary/Abstract: In the frame of Albanian poetical-musical general lyrics, as a special genre are the so called songs “Ashikishte” or “Kângë Ashikie=Love songs”. In this paper for the first time there are treated in ethno-musicological aspect some of their characterising elements, in the rural (village) tradition, or in urban one, in the so called “në frymën popullore=in folk spirit”. It should be pointed out that thematic of this genre is composed of three main subtypes, expressed through love of believers – lovers towards the God, prophets, imams and other reli-gious leaders in the role of being handsome, then, expressing the feeling of love towards fatherland, and at last, as pure lyrical creations of human love. Besides structural analyses, in the paper are discussed the way of creation, interpretation and especially the way of their instrumental interpretation (conducting). Likewise, there are pointed out other elements of influences, borrowings and connections with similar forms of oriental music, and also the way of keeping the spe-cific spirit (sense) of developing line of this musical genre and Albanian folk (popularly) poetry.
