SUFFERING ENDURED IN THE SPIRIT OF UNITY WITH JESUS’ “I CRAVE” AD SALVANDAS ANIMAS

Summary/Abstract: The article presents particular elements of the problem sketched in the title: first the very problem of suffering in the context of human existence is discussed; and then the mystery of Christ’s suffering is shown as well as His interpretation of “carrying the cross” and an analysis of His cry “I crave” in the context of the latest exegetic research. The article points to a necessity of unity with Jesus’ “I crave” for all the evangelizing work in the Church.
