A candidate for a teacher and artistic music (on the basis of studies and experiences)

Summary/Abstract: The preparation of the music teacher for a general high school covers many skills. One of them and indispensable is gaining experiences when communing with valuable music. The studies and pedagogic experiences of the author of the article show that earlier contacts with popular music young people had, the lack of interest in artistic music, too few hours devoted to this music when studying constitute a serious obstacle in achieving significant results in this area. The very issues are dealt with in the article.
