Romanian Challanges

Summary/Abstract: Romania’s challenges from the European integration perspective do not dwell exclusively in economical or political problems but in problems of culture as an identity factor. The present context of the strong globalization modifies the balance between the European cultures, as well as the way Romanians identify with the European cultural structure. The opening brought by the globalization and sustained by the integration has strong premises to modify the way Romanians identify with the state and society, carrying out in high speed the ideals of an older project from the point of view of mentalities as well as of institutions.
