Summary/Abstract: The present interview focuses on the vocational training and professional insertion of people with disabilities and on the efforts to change the attitude of the general public towards this vulnerable group. The interview covers the activities carried out by the REVIS Center in Hârlău which was set up in Romania on the basis of a Swiss social economy model. Ms. Carmen Grigo-raş, President of SPEhRO Association in Romania, provides an overview of the main similarities and differences between the Swiss and the Romanian models, with reference to the key social economy stakeholders. The inter-view reflects the developmental journey taken by the center’s benefi¬ciaries. Their social and labor insertion is ensured through a pre-vocational sponsor¬ship project, a novelty in Romania.
