Summary/Abstract: Clauses without their main parts are often heard in everyday communication and they also appeare in literature, but not much attention is paid to them in grammars. These are clauses without their main constituents – predicates, subjects or direct objects. This paper is dedicated to these clauses and it represents only an attempt of systematizing and classifying them, since their number is neither small nor definite.
