Summary/Abstract: The author explores the relationship between the mental health and the religiousness. The basic purpose is to find out the differences between the members of different sects and the members of the dominant religious communities. It is to be take in account that the students of the Orthodox theology, the students of Protestant theology and the students of secular universities have served as the patterns for the research. In all, 302 students were inquired on the basis of the MMPI-201 test during 1998. According to the results, our conclusion is that the differences are not large in relation to the mental health that the differences between the boys are larger than between the girls. On the basis of this research, the Orthodox theology takes a care for the certain manner of sadness. The feeling of guilty refers to the style of the life determined by suffering.
