Summary/Abstract: In the prayers of The Holy Communion we pray that the Holy Sacraments to be received for the everlasting life. We cannot understand the way in which everlastingness works in our lives solely by the gift of the Holy Ghost that makes us aware of the shortness of our earthly life and the endlessness of time aft er death. This awareness is to awaken us from the tumult of our problems and begin, by means of any earthly work, to seek for those of eternity, and this can be start byan meleti thanatou. The practice of death, loosens man of earthly cares and takes him to the light of Christ. Society perceives death as the greatest evil, but in spite of that, the practice of death is a divine charisma that places man in front of the everlastingness.
