Seriály Jaroslava Dietla Muž na radnici a Okres na severu – jejich úloha v rámci vysílání Československé televize a dobové hodnocení v médiích
TV Series of Jaroslav Dietl “Muž na radnici” and “Okres na severu” – Their Role in the Broadcasting of Czechoslovak Television and Contemporary

Summary/Abstract: The author devotes to TV series “Muž na radnici” (1976) and “Okres na severu” (1981). Those TV series were according to the script of Jaroslav Dietl. The director was Evžen Sokolovský. The television serial “Muž na radnici” presented the life of the chairman of city people’s committee František Bavor, the second TV serial showed the life of secretary of Communist Party. The author describes the circumstances of the shooting. He analyses the story and the characters. Using the newspapers reviews he illustrates the way of evaluation by the contemporary reviewers. TV series set a good example on which to demonstrate the process of creation of scenic piece in Czechoslovak TV of the time, when ideologic direction was carried out throught internal channels (intervention of TV directors), as well as external (authorisation of the Ideologic ad Thematic Plan by the apparatus of the Communist Party).
