Summary/Abstract: In the literature scholars have brought down the possible organizational forms which organized crime may take to around four major models: clans, hierarchies, networks and markets. The major objective of this article is to present each one of these four models of crime organization in which crime can be organized and studied. To this end, the publication contains a review of the models and outlines the trends in future studies, the task of which will be the furthering of studies on them and their application in a more dynamic way.
