Summary/Abstract: The establishment of foreign firms in emergent countres knew a strong progression since Ten years. It results from recent changes affecting the international environment, particulary the globalisation, the universalization of exchanges and the technological development. Nevertheless, we attend a regional disparity in terms of foreign investment volume. It translate a difference in attractivity between the host countries and consequently a lack of similarity in their development strategies. Admittedly, this attractivity is conditiond by the importance of economic factors and the quality of existing infrastructures. But facing to the increasing complexity of technology, other factors influence the choice in localization of investors, namely the institutional environment. The foreign firms hopes to benefit from spillovers related to investment environment that is research laboratories qualifications and specialized infrasructure. The static vision supposes that the development of this kind of strategies is a need as it allow to economic growth. Indeed, these strategies allow to transmit the know-how in management and marketing from developped countries to recipient ones and finally to develop their export capacities. The dynamic vision suppose not only to understand, how the emergent countries acquire external technologies, but also, how they optimise them by creating news or while making them more useful. It suppose, the developpment of absorbtive capacity throug collecting external knowledge in focus to control ans optimise them, and then develop new knowledge locally. The contribution of emergent economies deserves a detailed attention. That’s why our contribution consists to determine the performance conditions in these countries, since we assist to the development of economy founded on knowledge.
