Summary/Abstract: The paper approaches problems related to the role of contexts in terminography. The first section includes notes on the role of contexts in defining and understanding concepts. Special interest is paid to the most representative types of contexts. The analysis on the selected corpus of contexts aims at identifying patterns of contextual analysis to be used in creating new fields in terminological records.
