Summary/Abstract: The position of Polish culture, literature and language in the curricula of Italian universities indicates how deeply Polish culture is rooted in Italy. In Rome there are two chairs of Polish studies at “La Sapienza” and “Tor Vergata” universities. The aim of the article is to present the research field of the academic staff, organization of studies, curricula, selected topics of graduate works and the content of the libraries at both chairs of Polish studies in Rome.
