Summary/Abstract: Polish Parliament proclaimed the year 2009 in Poland the Year of Juliusz Słowacki. International conference “The Beauty of Słowacki” held in Białystok on 6th- 9th of May was the biggest and most important of the conferences organized in Poland to celebrate the anniversary. The subjects of the papers presented during the conference were devided into six groups: I-Forms of Beauty, II-Beauty of Drama, III- Metamorphosis of Beauty, IV-Woman, Body, Spirit; V-Word, Music, Picture, VI-History and Beauty.
