Summary/Abstract: For weeks now I have gone back to the Galerie Eva Poll in Berlin again and over again, where can be found the exceptionally fresh, unified and very-very serious exhibition of Franziskus Wendels, a member of the middle generation. I think by now they may have become suspicious of whether I am about to steal something since, according to the experiences I have gained here at every turn, it is not customary to observe things with such scrutiny. There is no time, energy and patience for it. Especially not now when Kunstherbst is in full swing, and in the course of its events - as a radio commercial says -more than two hundred museums and galleries offer their stuff throughout Berlin. Then why do I go to the same place over and over again?
