Summary/Abstract: I think I was absolutely normal before fate brought me to meet János Sziveri. I attended the science faculty of the grammar school in Zenta (Bácska, Voivodina, Serbia, ex-Yugoslavia, at present: small-Yugoslavia) to become a petrochemist. At that time my view of art was also to be considered healthy: I loved good, exciting novels with lots of dialogues and unnecessary descriptions avoided by the writer, and in music I gave preference to those short compositions that had a catchy and good tune to dance to (the more so as I functioned as a disc jockey at that time). As for fine arts, although I was ready to tolerate some works of old masters, I felt real enthusiasm towards the beautiful landscapes of the impressionists.
