Summary/Abstract: From the first periods of the history to today, the story of Joseph and Zulaıkha was transferred to this century included in written and oral folk literature and appeared as a religious story that all societies were interested in. The core of this study consists of the story of Joseph and Zulaıkha that was reported from Ibn Abbas and could be identified as a text from Old Anatolian Turkish in terms of both language and lexis. In this study, the seven copies of the tale that are available will be introduced and information will be given about the literary work assessing the copies.
