Summary/Abstract: In this study are analysed all the archaeological materials found in the one habitational layer Teliţa-Amza settlement, layer attribuited to the Babadag III phase. Five ceramic forms specific to the Babadag typology were documented in the archaeological complexes excavated: bitronconic vases (40,1 %), jars (36, 7 %), celti (13 %), plates (9,7 %) and pyxides (0,5 %); cups seem to be missing from the inventory. The most important find is a flat iron axe with fins, belonging, after A; Wesse’s typology, to the III1C1 type, which dates from the HaB3-HaC period. In Romania the Teliţa-Amza axe has analogies in the series of Vinţu de Jos - Coldău-Bâlvăneşti axes type, dated in HaC, constituting an important reference point in the Babadag chronology.
