Theological research completes historical research and adds that in the post-Eden educational concerns were addressed almost exclusively to issues directly related to everyday life: work, family, community. Moral education made up during ancient biblical times had as foundation the basic set of religious values, that led to significant differences in educational outcomes conducted in people with different faiths. Upon receiving the Law, Jews began to develop an entirely new educational system in terms of objectives and content learned or formulated based on the Decalogue. The emergence of Christianity, for which education is a divine commandment brought the subordination of the educational approaches to religious values, which Christian educators understood as a unique opportunity to make sure of the fairness of the aims and learning content.
