Summary/Abstract: In the sketch Dramat od - realniony, the author analyzes the manner of creation of characters and the presented world in works by Michał Walczak and Mateusz Pakuła. It becomes evident that this creation is mostly made at the level of language which assumes the status of an almost self- contained character. The author also stresses the innovative nature – as compared with the publicist drama of the so-called Generation Porno – of works by both playwrights. Walczak and Pakuła are characterized by attempts to depart from the realistic convention and to consciously use the literary and cultural contexts, as well as by basing on the metaphoric of the language. The dramas: Piaskownica, Podróż do wnętrza pokoju, Biały Dmuchawiec and Miki mister DJ reveal the post-modernist character of contemporary culture and the crisis of language as a means of communication, and thus, of “being in relation to the other”.
