Development of Wrocław Metropolitan Area based on the endogenous resources − chosen aspects

Summary/Abstract: In times of the intensive network connections and international cooperation, more and more attention is paid to the development of the metropolis (called “the growth pole”), which is the driving force of the regional and national economy. Wrocław Metropolitan Area is one of the most important metropolises in Poland. The identification of the endogenous resources is essential in the process of local development. The aim of this paper is to analyze selected endogenous resources of Wrocław Metropolitan Area in the context of the future directions in his development.
