Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the measure of integrity in staff recruitment and selection process with the use of questionnaires, a subject yet not well-known in Poland. The first part details the typology of so-called overt integrity tests in which the subject answers questions referring to overtly dishonest behaviors. The second part presents the notion of counterproductive work behaviors (CWB) together with major issues of controversy in overt integrity tests which have been so far discussed in the literature, including the lability of moral behavior, the validity of integrity tests, the invasiveness of testing with such tools and their susceptibility to give biased results.
