THE RECEPTION OF GRAZIA DELEDDA IN BULGARIA

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to give an idea of Bulgarian reception of the Italian writer Grazia Deledda, awarded with the Noble prize for literature for 1926. Through the research the attention is focused on the following aspects: how much familiar is this novelist woman to the Bulgarian reader before the awarding of the Noble Prize; works translated into Bulgarian; criteria for selecting the translator; meta texts in Bulgarian literature periodicals.
