Summary/Abstract: Thinking about dubbing films to Romanian, we must understand the different techniques, trying to maintain the emotions and the correct speaking, without losing the sync with the moving lips. Inevitably, we are speaking about a form of REmaking. For the cartoons, initially the image comes AFTER the audio track has been recorded, the moving lips will be drawn in conformity with the words and the energy of dialogues. For the translations, the process is REversed. The actor must sync his speaking with the pre-drawn moving lips, without losing the energy, the rhythm or the situation. We are talking now about a RE-making of the same situation into another language. Add the right techniques of using a microphone. The correct modulation into a language, the right addressing is also very important. The activity of post-synchronizing is actually a RE-making of an initial sound track.
