Summary/Abstract: The middle of the '60s introduced a new phase of further 'revolutionism' of school. During this phase, school underwent through a deep and complex reform, with a wide range of action and strong influence on the interior development of the whole education system and even further, of the Albanian society of that time. The years 1966 - 1968 represent a period during which the idea of this reform was framed and the fundamental lines of its theoretical platform were developed. Given the fact that one of the more important goals of the Communist government was the improvement of the education system, its attention focused precisely on that field. Its aim was to achieve the preparation of a "new revolutionary generation" through partial transformation with specialists and laborers, sufficiently qualified to face the growing needs of the local economy. Studies and opened discussions on this issue were prepared in order to introduce the future modifications on the education system. From the lowest to the highest scholar levels, the progress would be, necessarily, based on some permanent basic criterions, which were political, ideological and economic, seen from the viewpoint of the creation of an education system that would further prepare "the new socialist man with versatile evolution". It must be admitted that the studies, the discussions and the practical measures taken during this period remain of an experimental level. The further evolution showed that the modifications on the educational system, independently from what was shown, were partial and superficial. Consequently, their results only made way for the radical evolutions, which had so many consequences in the further continuity of the Albanian education system, but were far from being what was expected.
