Social Qualities of the Population

Summary/Abstract: The subject of analysis is the social level of people. The basic methodological means of the study and the presentation of the subject is the 'prin¬ciple of the whole'. Its content covers: the general and the particular, the essence and the phenomenon, quality and quantity, formation and dissolving, and a number of other aspects, inherent in a given system. The essence of the 'principle of the whole' has been clarified. It reveals the dialectic unity of the elements of every sys¬tem possible within the realms of the material and the spiritual. The article throws light upon the essence and the content of the demographic transition. It emphasizes the qualitative and quantitative aspects of the population before the start of that transition and the manifestation of those aspects after it has been accomplished.
