The anthropological research of Methody Popov in the light of the genetics

Summary/Abstract: The author is discussing the possibility by methodological reasoning to bridge the theoretical achievements of the genetics with the empirical level of the anthropology. The notion of phenotype and genotype are defined as a base, explaining all available genetic signs. On the light of the theoretical inventions of the genetics a brief analyses of the huge facto logical material gathered by the famous Bulgarian scientist academician Methody Popov is made. The genetical and anthropological features of the Bulgarians are fairly variable. The explanation is in the historical evidences since the oldest time of the process of negotiation and integration of many people and divers tribes having been our land and thus being a foundation of the Bulgarian population. -------------------- L'auteur essaie de lier, sur le plan méthodologique, les acquisitions théoriques du génie génétique au niveau empirique de l'anthropologie. Il s'appuie sur les concepts de phénotype et génotype, se situant à la base des indices anthropologiques essentiels. L'analyse succincte porte sur l'ensemble des faits anthropologiques collectés par Methodi Popov, émi-nent savant et académicien bulgare, à la lumière des découvertes théoriques du génie génétique. L'éventail génétique et anthropologique des Bulgares est présenté à l'attention du lecteur. Il tire son origine dans l'histoire ancienne, dans la fusion de plusieurs ethnies qui formèrent la population de la Bulgarie de nos jours.
