EUROPEAN AND NATIONAL FRAMEWORK REGARDING CRITICAL INFRASCTRUCTURES PROTECTION

Summary/Abstract: Infrastructures are or are becoming critical, mainly due to their vulnerability to the threats either targeted directly to them, or to the system, actions and processes comprising them. Globalization has fostered a new environment in which the specific risks, danger and threats emerge differently. That is why the national framework regarding critical infrastructures protection must be integrated into, and co-related with the European one, at three levels, i.e., legislation, risk analysis and common measures programs.
