Summary/Abstract: The article presents the percentage of the so-called relative names in the post-war toponymy of West Pomerania, officially established after 1945 by the Commission for Establishing Names of Localities and Physiographic Objects. The issue in question is discussed on the basis of the toponymic material of the post-war administrative district of Łobez, which was one of the twelve districts of the Szczecin province. Only less than six percent of all geographic names of the given region are formed by relative names or detoponymic names.
