Summary/Abstract: Solution-Focused Management (SFM) is managing with the Solution-Focused approach. The Solution-Focused (SF) approach was originally developed over 30 years ago by Steve de Shazer, in the field of Brief Therapy. The last decade, this approach is practiced among consultants and coaches in organizational settings. The article introduces this approach as a way of obtaining useful and positive results in short time. In a complex world, the SF management is probably one of the best ways to manage simply. Based on its unique basic assumptions, the article stresses ten Solution-Focused Management (SFM) principles and their relevant techniques - moving from searching the root causes of problems to solutions creating, from what doesn’t work to what works and, from looking at past events to future possibilities. Finally, special aspects are discussed: the new kind of the manager's leadership, new possibility of the worker (subordinate) to influence and the new positive managerial language. It is about being effective, it is about achieving fast results and, it is about creating positive change management.
