Summary/Abstract: The subject of article are some general laws of assimilation of the lady’s song repertoire in the conditions of the patriarchal village as a particular case within the sphere of the problems connected with the so-called cultural instruction. The type of artistic training under scrutiny is conditioned by the characteristics of the popular artistic culture as a system which is accomplished along the lines of the annual agricultural cycle and the socialization of personality in the community as well as by the specificity of musical activities. Musical tradition is assimilated and reproduced within three basic (conditionally delimitated) communities: the village one, that of kinships, and groups of the same age. The mechanisms of musical training are connected with the role played by the individual in one or another communal groupings during his childhood, premarital period and life after marriage.
