Summary/Abstract: Any diplomatical representative had to protect the rights of his people in the state he was sent to and to make diplomatical reports which include significant information about almost everything that happens in that country. They are very important personalities and their role is priceless even nowadays. They use all kind of sources in order to reach their objectives and they have to be very capable, wise and intelligent persons because they have to deal with complex situations, so they have to know how to handle crisis. Presenting the entire french diplomatical group in Romania during 1866-1914 constitute a very nice initiative because knowing how many people France sent in Romania in order to represent its interests make an image of how this country was important to France.
