Summary/Abstract: The present analysis represents a critical view on the mostly unknown or totally forgotten Polish avant-garde theatre projects of Andrzej Pronaszko and Szymon Syrkus from the 1920’s and 1930’s, such as the Simultaneous Theatre, the Youth Theatre and the Mobile Theatre. The main challenge of all these projects was to reshape the performance space, both the stage and the auditorium, involving mechanical circular movements of these two components, in order to build a simultaneously visual composition requested by the performance.
